About
I'm juicesharp. I post the same long-term earbud reviews on Reddit as u/juicesharp and on X as @juicesharp. This site is where those reviews live in full, with photos, and where you can tell me when your pair behaves differently from mine.
The field guides
Each guide is a long-term review of a pair I bought myself (see how I get the pairs). It puts three voices side by side:
- Me: what I hear and notice after weeks of use.
- The reviewers I cite: measurements and findings from other reviewers, always marked "From research" and credited.
- Owners: what people who own the same pair report. Owners can already answer the claims in a guide; fuller owner ratings come later.
When those three disagree, the guide says so plainly instead of averaging it away.
Vote next
You choose which pair I review next. Each round lists a few candidates; the one with the most confirmed votes is the next pair I buy and live with.
Arclet
I also build Arclet, a Mac app for controlling earbuds from the menu bar. That's a real interest in the hardware I write about, so every guide that covers a pair Arclet works with says so near the top. The disclosure and editorial policy explains how I keep the two apart.
